Agenda/Notes:

  1. The PMC need to map out the new formal process for submitting a project request within OIT.
    1. Appoint a few select committee members to flush out details and present best options to the PMC for a decision\ refinement.
    2. Agree to a follow-up due date for the proposals to the committee.
  2. Dashboard reports for Managers and Directors in ServiceNow - Collaborative list from PMC Members here for contribution: https://docs.google.com/a/uci.edu/spreadsheets/d/1kQuYUSHDacxq4aCHD992-KNNW8h7G5Zfzg0hDeU4odk/edit?usp=sharing
    1. Appoint a few select committee members to conduct a needs assessment on what reports should be on these dashboards, with the intent to deliver these application-wide in Q1 2016.
    2. Schedule a date to review the report items and make adjustments.
    3. Schedule an initial commitment date to have first draft of dashboards deployed to all SN members. 
  3. INC to Project conversion
    1. Consider adding a mod to the Incident Management system to allow a new project to be created directly from an incident. 
  4. User training
    1. Best way to notify users re: best practices for using the system.

  • Carmen - map out the new formal process for submitting a project request within OIT. Agreed to be delivered by next meeting in 2 weeks. 
  • Jeff - Google doc with link to wiki on report items for dashboards - 2 weeks. 
  • Eric P - Will talk with Cheryl about team announcements of changes and enhancements in ServiceNow at monthly all-hands meeting or Leadership meeting.
