Initial Verification

The test/verification page can be used to verify that the site is up and can be accessed, without involving the local department storefront.

Verifying "Full Cycle" - Checkout, Authorization, Postback, View Reports

The site needs to be enabled and live for the payment processing to occur.

Verify that a department staff member has been assigned the "Payment Clerk", in order to issue a reversal for the transaction.

Checkout with Real Credit Card

There are no test cards in the production environment. TouchNet IT suggests the tester use a personal card and have the transaction voided (same-day reversal).

View Reports

Reverse Transaction

The transaction can be voided (e.g. does not process with bank, will not charge the card) if a same-day reversal is issued. If the settlement cutoff passes, a reversal can still be issued, in which the card will have a charge and a credit.
