DWH KFS Decision Support JIRA Tasks - Status Chart

First draft of FS150 report completed
Student delivered first draft of lookup reports for project code, fundgroup code
Prototype for organizational hierarchy report prompts
Interviewed students for programming/ETL and report writer positions, job offered and accepted by one student

Scripts to add KFS attributes to legacy data warehouse (employee, payroll, fs). Coding is complete - currently testing each time COA is re-loaded.
Implement the changes to the data model on the database, fixing any jobs that break as a result of the database changes
Returned balance ETL jobs to consultant for bug fixes
Development for FS0150, FS0209 (for standard reconciliation) equivalent reports
Document a distinct list of Cognos reports to be developed for KFS with prioritization
Script to load the PPS title table into KFS
ETL specifications for PURAP
Scheduling of all completed ETL jobs on Talend Server
Development of scripts to migrate open receivables transactions from legacy DWH to KFS DWH
Talend server installation on UNIX - still waiting on installation
Students will continue to develop KFS look-up reports in Cognos
Document and provide data warehouse team the list of fund groups needed to add to the database for FS0150 style reports

Data Warehouse Support

DWH is operating well as usual, Grace is acting as primary DWH production support.

Payroll Certification - Tammy had to make a change to the DOS code list and re-load the executive level code table for the DHHS per request from C&G accounting. This was turned over last week.

Next two week planned activities and deliverables

Schedule follow-up meetings with Purchasing users to finalize reporting requirements
Continue making bug fixes to ETL scripts and testing
Continue working on approval for high priority reports
Plans for Cognos portal/user experience for Cognos (SNAP) - will work with focus group on this project
Report specs approval for Capital Asset and PURAP
Continue report development for highest priority reports
Student to begin enhancement of BOToolkit, to allow queries against KFS web services
Complete hiring process for student employees and begin training

Production support trends in terms of tickets either in JIRA or Footprints.

DWH Production Support 10%, New development 90% (except Grace)

Staffing issues or personnel related matters

Budget requests for any new software or hardware
