• Neil gave update on Signet/Grouper progress
• Dana still waiting on Novell vendor sales rep to contact him to setup demo, will try again
• Novell has authz controls module as part of id mgmt product
• AdCom will talk with Albert Wu @ UCLA regarding their plans and progress for using Signet/Grouper on their campus
• How can we possibly partner with UCLA or other UC and make this a priority from the top down more globally
• Signet/Grouper working group leaders want to talk to Neil and Josh to get some feedback
• Greg Ackerman @ UCIMC uses Active Directory, should we bother considering that as a solution or is it too tied to Windows?
  • Jim will follow up with Steve in health affairs IT to fill us in on pros/cons
• We should also look at Sun vendor, UC Berkeley and UCSB are using it. Free software, however there is cost for support in installing and configuring it and may require the id mgmt piece.
  • Dana will schedule a demo meeting with them too
