Create a Change Task

GUIDE STATUS: PUBLISHED
- Navigate to the change request to be updated by following the View a Change Request guide.
- Scroll down and click on the Change Tasks tab below the Related Links section.

- Click on the New button to create a new change task.

- Enter a configuration item for the task in the Configuration item field, if applicable.

- Select a value from the Priority dropdown.

- Enter a value for the Due date field.

- Update the Assigned to and Assignment group fields, if necessary.

- Update the Work notes list. (Further instructions: Add a User to the Work Notes List)

- Enter a short description in the Short description field.

- Enter a detailed description of what the task entails in the Description field.

- Click Submit to submit your change task record.
