The Page heading Data Definition group is collapsed by default. Expand this to access your heading options.
Choosing the heading type
Selection | What this means | What this triggers |
---|---|---|
Default | The page title will be displayed as the heading. | Causes the Alignment Data Definition field to display |
Marquee | A marquee layout will be used as the page heading. | Causes the Marquee Data Definition field to display. |
Article/Post | An article/post style heading will be used. | Causes the Display publication date, Display description, and Display byline Data Definition fields to display, |
Hidden | The page title will be used as the heading, but not displayed visually. | N/A |
Default heading type
The page title is displayed as the heading.
Alignment

Marquee heading type
A marquee layout is used as the page heading.

Article/Post heading type
In some cases, you may want to treat the heading with additional content, such as when the page functions as an article or post (although the Article/Post heading type is not exclusive to this use case).

Hidden heading type
In some cases, you may want to hide the page heading from visual display. For example, your homepage may have the title ‘Home’, which is semantically correct, but may not be useful for display. Hiding the heading in this case allows other important content to move up the page.
