Site header

The site header appears at the top of every page in your site. It contains the site masthead and search form.

To modify the header content, locate and edit:
Base Folder/inc/header

Location of the header asset in Cascade.

Below are the editable elements of the header. You will need to publish the header for changes to take effect.

Wordmark

Required. This is the location of your site wordmark file. If you do not have a wordmark, please contact Todd McGill in Strategic Communications.

GSA search collection

Required. The search collection manages the scope of search form results. The default value is 'uci_full', which returns results from all UCI websites indexed by the campus search appliance. If you would like your site's search form to return result from a subset of indexed UCI sites (e.g., your site only, your department only, your school only, etc.), please contact Jim Kreuziger in Strategic Communications to create a search collection that meets your needs.
