Dear Kuali Community,

With a lot of hard work and dedication by our UConn staff, our commercial affiliate rSmart and the support of the Kuali community at large, UConn is officially live in production with the Kuali Financial System (KFS).  There have been many challenges along our journey to today and I am sure there are many unforeseen issues we will be addressing in the next few weeks and months. However, the fact remains that KFS is now the financial management system at the University of Connecticut and we would like to thank the community for its support in getting us to this day.

Aloha KFFC,
I am happy to announce that UH will be officially live with KFS 4.1 as of tomorrow, July 2, 2012, the first working day of FY 2013!

Thank you to all the KFS partner schools that helped UH reach this milestone.  Our implementation was truly filled with Community support as we had Community members come to assist us, we visited other sites, we borrowed functional specifications and code and we used many of your staff that helped to implement KFS at your institutions!  We are very excited and happy to join the ranks of the schools that have KFS implemented and operational.

We have already begun processing legacy POs and AR invoices and will be converting our legacy balances later this week.  We will begin processing FY 2013 financial transactions on July 9.  So far it's not too bad.  Our Help Desk is operational and ready for action.
