- review MDS and the metadata data collected.
- review Cognos existing schema.
- testing Erwin default reporting tool for metadata extract,physical database report and convert into XCL.
- reading AND RESEARCH ErWin documents (ODBC Reporting, Data browser) to add reporting attributes (data type, PK,FK,AK etc.)
- required software update to r9 and ODBC reporting functions and data browser for more reporting attributes.
- contacted CA support TO reestablish technical support.
- contacted Durendal for the spreasdsheet dump of KFS cognos packages.
next week:
- install Cognos Framework Manager.
- get access to 'sub- subversion' project files from Valerie.
- build the metadata spreadsheet based on Durandal's spreadsheet.
