Use the Configuration Item Update Request Form

Overview

Currently, there is a group that manages the CMDB, so in order to add, update, bulk import, or delete configuration items, you must submit a Service Catalog request form. A review of your request will be made, and likely, your changes implemented in the CMDB. Use this guide to navigate to and submit your request.

Request a Configuration Item Update

  1. First, navigate to the Service Catalog by following the Navigate to the Service Catalog guide.
  2. Under the Infrastructure section, click on Server Infrastructure.



  3.  Click on Configuration Item Management Form.



  4. Fill out the associated fields for your request. All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
  5. Once finished, click the Order Now button at the top right of the content frame to submit your request.
