In an effort to better protect sensitive data contained within the OIT Confluence wiki, we will begin enforcing DUO multi-factor authentication to OIT Confluence for those users who are enrolled in DUO starting on July 15, 2019 after 5:00pm.
Changes to login procedures after July 15th, 2019 5:00pm
- If you have DUO software installed on your mobile device, enter your username and password into the OIT Confluence login and a DUO push notification will be sent automatically to your DUO application. Please be aware that you will not receive a confirmation message on the Confluence login page indicating that a DUO push has been initiated. You must check your mobile device for the DUO push request.
- If you are using a DUO hardware token, you will need to enter your username and password + DUO passcode into the password field in the following format: password, passcode
(Be sure to enter a comma between the password and passcode.)
- If you are not enrolled in DUO, you will continue to log into OIT Confluence in the same manner as you did before. However, if you have not registered with DUO, but would like to, please visit https://www.oit.uci.edu/mfa/duo-enroll/ to find out how to enroll.
