Overview

The scope of the project request process is designed to encompass information technology projects primarily including system or software development or acquisition and may be used for infrastructure, and network or hardware needs. OIT's goal is to support an open, transparent, and representative process for submitting and evaluating project proposals, prioritization, scheduling, and resource allocation. This site is used to help you understand and participate in this process and includes information that will assist you in submitting a request for new work.

We are meeting in OIT and with our campus constituents to establish and validate this common process. We always welcome suggestions or feedback to help us make improvements. We are also reviewing what other campuses are doing in this area, such as UC Santa Cruz and University of Illinois
