  • Cognos Report Stats:
    • Number Cognos Reports to be developed for Phase I: 15
    • Number of Phase I Cognos Reports Completeddeveloped (pending testing): 11
    • Remaining Phase I Reports to be developed: 4
    • Total Reports to be developed (all phases): 38
  • Balance job is completed and loading without errors. Balance totals have not been verified.
  • All table look-up reports (list of accounts, objects, etc.) are completed
  • Student is done adding color scheme and cleaning up GUIs for Account Transaction and Fund Summary Reports
  • Updates to the org dimension job to add hierarchy level code
  • KFS Folder in Cognos is cleaned up and ready for public viewing
  • Developed new Cognos package to include requested KFS attributes, capital asset and KIM dimensions/facts
  • Report specs are complete for the following KBM reports:

  • Work with new Rsmart consultant to build Cognos framework, develop KBM reports (Ken, Susie)

Data Warehouse Support

DWH is operating well as usual, Grace is acting as primary DWH production support. 
Preparations and job monitoring during fiscal year-end
Upgrade to Java 7 - Student developer will work on upgrading DWH to Java 7 this summer.

Payroll Certification - Data extraction, pulling documentation together to provide to NSF for the DHHS audit.

Next two week planned activities and deliverables

  • Continue making bug fixes to ETL scripts and testing
  • Continue report development for highest priority reports
  • Copy tables needed for KBM reports to DWH database server

Production support trends in terms of tickets either in JIRA or Footprints.

We plan to upgrade to SQL Server 2012 on our development server, but there are concerns this might cause some setbacks for the KFS Decision Support project.
