- Completed exploring Erwin r9.5 Report designer:
- using very comprehensive template to create reports on the database quickly.
- one of the more useful template is the Table/column property template. It conyains most of the attributes required for metadata.
- However, some of the attributes are empty unless they are defined in the database or documented/recorded in Erwin.
- So, one of the question would be, if it is technical data would it be more natural for programmers to define them in the database and be available for query or extraction,
Some attributes like unique, data source, DB, etc.

- other lesson learnt: cognos dump contains: 'unsupported' data element in DataType and Datalengthen, this will create problem when loading data problems when loading data into tables or other software.
