  • worked on this week:
    • research on MDS concepts, functions, major building blocks and components,
    • find out how to SHARE MODELS, ENTITIES etc between developers.
  • to be worked on next week:
    • building cognos KFS meta data BY expanding.
      • account and other groups of entities.
    • create a package, test and deploy functions for testing user functions testing.
    • test MDS Explore functions.
    • creating user groups.
  • Important findings:
    • use ONLY  IE, some menus and functions do not work with Firefox.
    • to share models, all developers require MDS administrative right.
    • administer users access right through user group membership instead of directly through MDS.
