Digital Accessibility Training – Start Here
Digital accessibility ensures that all members of our community can access library information and services. As part of UC Irvine Libraries’ Title II of the ADA compliance efforts, all library employees are expected to review baseline accessibility expectations and role-based requirements.
This training confirms shared understanding and establishes consistent accessibility practices across the Libraries.
How to complete the training
If you have any of the five roles listed below in Step 2, go to Step 2; otherwise, do Step 1a.
Review the ✔ Required – Baseline Expectations page and complete the basic training. Then go to Step 3.
Navigate to your role-specific expectations page(s) below and complete the training(s) that apply to you (if you perform multiple roles, review the required expectations for each role):
Complete the Accessibility Knowledge Confirmation Survey (QuestionPro).
IMPORTANT: All library employees should complete the survey only once.
About the training
Focus on items marked ✔ Required.
Use linked readings and videos as refreshers or references.
About the survey
The survey is not a test.
It does not track which training resources you used.
It serves as confirmation that you understand and follow the ✔ Required expectations for your role(s).
