GUIDE STATUS: IN REVIEW

Overview

Follow the two sections below to show/hide widget features and resize a widget to customize your dashboard even further. If you are looking to apply a quick grid to the entire dashboard, follow the guide Apply a Quick Layout. Follow the instructions below before scrolling down to the applicable section.

  1. Navigate to the dashboard in which you would like to edit a widget layout.
  2. Click the plus icon (+) at the top right of the content frame to enter the dashboard edit view.

Show/Hide Widget Border/Header/Title

  1. The dashboard should be in edit view. Hover over the header of the widget.
  2. Hovering over the header will reveal widget options. Select the Settings icon (gear icon) at the right side of the header.

  3. A popup will appear with settings. Look at the Show section.
  4. If a box is checked, then that widget feature is visible on the dashboard. Uncheck a box to disable the border, header, or title, and vice versa to enable it again.

  5. In the section Title alignment, select LeftCenter, or Right depending on how you would like the title aligned.

  6. Click Done to save your changes.

Resize/Reposition Widget

  1. At this point, you have already applied a quick layout, or chose not to use one.
  2. There are two ways to resize a widget. The first is to resize it as you would any window on your computer.
  3. Hover over the border on any edge of the widget. Once your cursor changes to a two-sided arrow, you can resize the widget.

  4. Click and drag the edge of the widget until it is the appropriate size.

  5. The second way (to change widget height): hover over the header of the widget until icons appear at the right most side.
  6. Click the resize icon to increase the height of the widget, and hold down <Shift> while clicking the resize icon to decrease the widget height.

  7. Finally, to reposition the widget, click and drag the widget by its header to the desired location.
