The primary navigation contains links and dropdown menus that allow visitors to browse through the main sections of your site.
Although the existence of the primary-nav asset in Cascade is required, displaying a primary nav on your site is optional. For small, simple sites, a primary navigation may be unnecessary.
Nav items
Each link or dropdown toggle that appears in the primary navigation is a Nav item.

Dropdown menus
Dropdown menus consist of a label (i.e., the text that is displayed on the dropdown toggle) and one or more link groups, which display as columns when the menu is expanded.
