Overview
Sometimes, it would be beneficial to edit a template that has already been created. This could be caused by a convention change, OIT standard implementation, etc. Follow along with the below instructions to edit an existing template. If you wish to create a new template, take a look at the guide Create a Template.
Edit a Template
- Navigate to a page of the same type as the template (project, project task, incident, etc.)
Click on All Templates with the 3 dot button:Image Removed
Find the template you want to edit and click on Edit.Image Removed
After performing all desired changes, click on Update to save your work.Image Removed. In this example, a project template is edited, so the record opened is a project record.
- Make sure to have your template bar toggled. If you haven't done this yet, follow the Toggle the Template Bar guide.
- Select the All templates button on your template bar (button with three dots).
