Uploading Document Attachments To Jobs
Technical Notes: Document uploads in FACserv requires that the user workstation run Java Runtime Engine 1.5.x or higher since it executes a java applet locally.
1) Login to the FACserv application/portal and navigate to a Job module.
2) Using the default query list of jobs, locate the job you need to upload a document to.
3) Open the job by clicking on the link. Another window will appear containing the job's data record.
4) Locate and click on the 'Notes & Documents' tab.
5) Click on the 'Revise' button to put the job into a 'Revision In Progress' status. This will allow you to make changes to the job record.
6) Navigate to the 'Related Documents' section. Click on the 'Upload' button.
7) Another window will appear to start loading, but you will be prompted by another message: "This page contains both secure and non-secure items. Do you want to display the non-secure items?" Click on 'Yes' to clear the message.
8) The Object Attachment Upload will begin to load, but will prompt you to login again using your UCInetID and password. Enter these and click on 'OK'. NOTE: DO NOT CLICK ON 'Save this password in your password list?'.
9) The Object Attachment Upload window will finish loading.
