• Start Safari
• Safari --> Preferences
• The Safari web-browser preferences window appearsis displayed.
• Select the Security Tab in the preferences window.
  • Select the Block pop-up windows check-box.
• Select the red "x" button to close the Safari preferences window.
  

Microsoft Windows computers

• Start Safari
• Select the Edit item located on the Safari web-browser menu-bar.
• Select the Preferences... item display in the Edit menu list.
• The Safari web-browser preferences window is displayed.
  • Select the Security Tab in the preferences window.
  • Select the Block pop-up windows check-box.
  • Click the "X" in the upper right-hand corner of the Safari preferences window to close it.
