| Implement easy-to-use "save query" functionality in Cognos reports (ServiceNow) | It is difficult for Cognos users to save query selections to easily re-run the same report at a later time. Implement an easy-to-use "save query" where the user presses a "Save" button, a window pops-up and asks for a name (optionally, a description) and all parameters will be saved. Also implement a "Load" button where the user can choose a previously-saved query. When a saved query is chosen, the prompt screen is re-loaded with all previous parameters. | BLISS Enhancement | There are multiple requests from end users around campus, including the MAABO group, Accounting, A&BS and other constituents that would like a Query By Example (QBE) ad-hoc tool for reporting similar to UCI's BLISS or UCR's UCRFStotals. This front end should be extensible to other subject areas (UCPath, Student, etc.). Users are familiar with the functionality of BLISS, so the effort of this project will focus on adding functionality to BLISS. The scope of this project is limited to the development of the AdHoc Tool, and does not include the effort needed to implement this tool for each subject area (KFS, UCPath, SIS, etc.).
