Essentially a scaled-down jumbotron repackaged into a widget. I image this having orientation (landscape / portrait) and text position options (left / right / bottom / cover).
Event
Something like the above (nice big date stamp!), but with an option to add some additional event details.

An accessible image slideshow that supports html captions and linkable slides.
