A redirect is useful when you need to take a visitor user to some other location on the web when they visit a particular URL. For example, maybe you’ve moved something on your site to a new location, or perhaps you’re displaying an index of related pages on other websites.

Creating redirects

Create a new page by selecting Redirec Redirect from the Add Content menu.

The redirect destination is the location to which the user will be taken.

If you create any customizations that involve indexing redirects, you may want to include additional information about the redirect in these fields to display in the index listings.

  • Page title - the title of the destination page,

  • Page description - a description of the destination page.

  • Page publication date - the publications date of the destination page.
